There are cafés and bistros, a variety of shops, antiques shops where you can often find a bargain and, in the oldest part of town, several craft shops.
You have a lot of activities nearby, such as golf, riding, sailing, fishing, walking (Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc et Caroux), beaches, ....
and also a lot of very famous towns to visit: Beziers and le "canal du Midi", Sete, Montpellier, Abbeys: Fontfroide, Valmagne, St Guilhem le Desert, etang de Thau, Carcassonne and the Cathare castles,....
